Who am I, that the Lord of all the earth
Would care to know my name
Would care to feel my hurt
Who am I, that the bright and morning Star
Would choose to light the way
For my ever wandering heart
Not because of who I am
But because of what You've done
Not because of what I've done
But because of who You are
I am a flower quickly fading
Here today and gone tomorrow
A wave tossed in the ocean
A vapor in the wind
Still You hear me when I'm calling
Lord, You catch me when I'm falling
And You've told me who I am
I am Yours, I am Yours
Who am I, that the eyes that see my sin
Would look on me with love
and watch me rise again
Who am I, that the voice that calmed the sea
Would call out through the rain
And calm the storm in me
Whom shall I fear
Whom shall I fear
I am yours

It was my fourth trip to Bangkok but my first to have gone alone with only a guy. And Danny had been a great companion. A few of my friends asked if it was safe to do so but I think it is absolutely fine because we are not romantically linked. Haha.
Went to watch Fantastic Four in Bangkok EGV and realized we had to stand to show our respect to their king for around 2 minutes as a clip on him was being screened. And other then a choice between sweet and salty popcorn, they have cheese popcorn as well, which is the best among the three.
I bought less things compared to my last trip there but I spoilt myself totally with massages and meals in restaurants daily. We even called for room service every night for supper! I think I have almost mastered the art of doing the traditional Thai massage. Anyone game enough for a try? Haha.
This is a super mini cream puff, which cost 1 baht each. Let me warn you – they are really addictive as you pop one after another into your mouth. Tommy and Sharon will agree totally - got them a box as they fetched me from the airport. Such a sweet couple, right? And I miss Joash so much!!!

Bangkok is famous for her traffic congestion. Instead of taking the taxis and tuk-tuks, Danny and I walked to almost all our destinations, except Khao San (popular with Caucasians) and Chiatuchak (weekend market).

This is the yuan yang soup being served as we ate in a restaurant called Coca. It is bak kut teh on the left and tom yum on the right. I prefer the latter because I still think my mum makes the best bak kut teh.

We also had traditional Thai food at Yum Tum. I must say I am most impressed with the generous servings and use of herbs to tease our taste buds mercilessly. I was almost on fire after the meal.

I am very amazed by how good most of the Thais look. It was an eye feast because you see beautiful people everywhere you turn. And not to miss the way they speak. I tried imitating them in the hotel room as we watched their variety shows. Eh, I was told I look like a Thai girl (or tiger if you want) countless times. Get the hint? Kekeke.
More to come!
