Went for a KTV session with a bunch of 'strangers' on Saturday - Wee Kiat, Danny, Zhiyong and Pearlyn. Hahaha. Actually, I am their common friend, so most of them are meeting one another for the first time. It was amazing how we managed to 'click' - spent almost 10 hours singing, eating and chatting. Of course, I was their common target for teasing, bullying etc. But the sight of them enjoying themselves is worth all the pain. Hehe. Had organised this session with the intention to help my friends, who are still single, to widen their social circle. Only the more adventurous and courageous ones came. And they harvested budding friendships! I am over the moon for them.
This is Wee Kiat. His birthday just passed so I got him birthday muffins for a belated celebration. He is also one of my closer friends from AAA Primary School. A very conversational, nice and musically inclined chap.
This is Danny. Another rare gem. Was a chef with Raffles Hotel before he became a teacher who teaches Home Economics. He is funny, chatty, a total S.N.A.G and sings beautifully. Was pretending to hit him with a spoon in this picture and he gladly complemented.
This is Pearlyn. My good buddy from NIE. She is such a caring, considerate and pretty gal. Definitely one of my greatest treasures uncovered during my two years of study as a student teacher. A precious catch for a girlfriend!
This is Zhiyong. He sings a little like Andy Lau and is an engineer. He is one of the few dare-devils who somehow manages to hit me on my head, without making me mad. Haha. Another filial and eligible bachelor.
This, is our group picture. And it will not be the last time we are meeting. Apparently they are all not satisifed with the four hours of music therapy. I was still coughing so did not sing much. Danny was also recovering from flu.
Yes! Another success! Think I can open a match-making agency as a sideline soon. Hahaha. I am glad for my friends who get happily attached. Don't ask me when it will be my turn.
