Who am I, that the Lord of all the earth
Would care to know my name
Would care to feel my hurt
Who am I, that the bright and morning Star
Would choose to light the way
For my ever wandering heart
Not because of who I am
But because of what You've done
Not because of what I've done
But because of who You are
I am a flower quickly fading
Here today and gone tomorrow
A wave tossed in the ocean
A vapor in the wind
Still You hear me when I'm calling
Lord, You catch me when I'm falling
And You've told me who I am
I am Yours, I am Yours
Who am I, that the eyes that see my sin
Would look on me with love
and watch me rise again
Who am I, that the voice that calmed the sea
Would call out through the rain
And calm the storm in me
Whom shall I fear
Whom shall I fear
I am yours

I have friends, who are single, asking me to introduce guys to them. Well, I tried. The initial plan was to have a KTV session this Saturday. Amazingly, only the guys responded positively while no gals could make it. Alas, there was a glimpse of hope when a female friend mentioned that she would be bringing her friend along. It is my style to give a profile of the guys and gals to all who will be attending the activity which I organise. This time, I sent a message to her, telling her that all the guys are either teachers or teachers-to-be. Guess what her reply was? “Duno who will be interested in teachers” and then she said that she will not be joining us. I was furious – what does she mean by that? Eventually, I have to abandon this plan due to poor response. I am used to such situations because adults (sadly) do have busy schedules (and some give very last-minute notices). What made me upset was my friend’s supposedly passing remark. I will never invite her to such outings again. I would understand if she is of supermodel-caliber or a high flyer, but she is not! Time to change your expectations, my friend! Stop being superficial! Most of my guy friends are very eligible with plenty of virtues – cream of the crop! You are going to regret, I am sure!
