Who am I, that the Lord of all the earth
Would care to know my name
Would care to feel my hurt
Who am I, that the bright and morning Star
Would choose to light the way
For my ever wandering heart
Not because of who I am
But because of what You've done
Not because of what I've done
But because of who You are
I am a flower quickly fading
Here today and gone tomorrow
A wave tossed in the ocean
A vapor in the wind
Still You hear me when I'm calling
Lord, You catch me when I'm falling
And You've told me who I am
I am Yours, I am Yours
Who am I, that the eyes that see my sin
Would look on me with love
and watch me rise again
Who am I, that the voice that calmed the sea
Would call out through the rain
And calm the storm in me
Whom shall I fear
Whom shall I fear
I am yours

This year’s Christmas celebrations are one of the best in my life so far – attended two family celebrations and one with the Sunshine Club.
TomSumJo invited me to their family party in the late afternoon on Christmas Eve and I got to meet a few of Tommy’s siblings. The Sunshine Club had intended to have a BBQ that evening before counting down but the rain made it impossible. However, all things worked for good when we settled at TomSumJo’s cosy home for another round of party. Yvonne couldn’t join us because she was sick, but this gem prepared the fruits nonetheless. Xinying, Zaya, Ben, Mich, Ra, Kong, Kuen, Kenneth and Nicky were there too! Sharon busied herself with grilling all the uncooked food meant for the BBQ and we had a feast of sausages, kebabs, chicken wings, fried rice, honeydew sago, chips, watermelons etc. Most of the food were whipped up by Ra – amazing! The chicken nuggets I contributed were Sharon’s and Kuen’s favourite – nuggets tasted equally delicious grilled! I could only rave about the potato salad Sharon made (and I am not the kind who goes for gan dung). We sang a few Christmas carols and a few of us caught Coffin after that. I was the last to leave around three plus in the morning. Thanks to Tommy, I got home safely…
Christmas was spent at Aunt Monica’s condominium at Hume Avenue. As usual, there was a sumptuous feast when mum cooked yam paste with lotus seeds, broccoli and fried mee sua. Aunt Tina prepared curry vegetables, curry chicken and wu xiang. Aunt Monica made braised chicken wings and cold desserts. I believe the food were meant for fifty adults as we ate for lunch and dinner, with leftovers to bring home. Trust me, this is the norm for our family gatherings! Haven’t seen Tyler for so long and he is already two! The lovely toddler was just sitting independently and quietly munching away while the rest of the older children had fun with toys and games. They even went swimming while I became the nanny and photographer. Colin is also back from Melbourne for a short holiday. Cindy Jie Jie (I know it’s weird for an aunty to address another this way) was there with her three princesses and Jonah was there too! It has been so long since we have such a heartwarming gathering and I left reluctantly in a cab with mum and dad…
I get it... a true Manchester United fan...
With lovely Tyler... he is so cute and adorable that I can't keep my hands off him...
Esther, all dolled up and ready for Christmas caroling on Christmas Eve... call this 'the nerd and the princess' shot?
Received a number of presents and these are a few of my favourites...
From TomSumJo - they gave me many other gifts and the most precious of all? The relationship and friendship we share...
From Ra... missing Kei, Jerome and Didar at the party...
From Ben and Mich... I know, it's my favourite colour!
From Aunt Ruby and family... and there is a purple flower!
From Aunt Monica... I don't really fancy bracelets but this is soooooo beautiful!
From Eric... and I can't bear to use it!
Yummy potato salad made with love by Sharon...
BLESSED CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND A FRUITFUL 2009 AHEAD!
