Who am I, that the Lord of all the earth
Would care to know my name
Would care to feel my hurt
Who am I, that the bright and morning Star
Would choose to light the way
For my ever wandering heart
Not because of who I am
But because of what You've done
Not because of what I've done
But because of who You are
I am a flower quickly fading
Here today and gone tomorrow
A wave tossed in the ocean
A vapor in the wind
Still You hear me when I'm calling
Lord, You catch me when I'm falling
And You've told me who I am
I am Yours, I am Yours
Who am I, that the eyes that see my sin
Would look on me with love
and watch me rise again
Who am I, that the voice that calmed the sea
Would call out through the rain
And calm the storm in me
Whom shall I fear
Whom shall I fear
I am yours

THANK YOUs… … arranged pretty much chronologically… hoho
TomSumJo – this must be the third time my second family celebrated my birthday with me. Sorry to make you pay for the lunch at Tony Roma’s… it’s my first time there! And thanks for the ‘cake surprise’ on Monday night and the sweet smelling gift! Jojo, thanks for singing me the birthday song in two languages. I know it is a simple feat to you!
Didar, Mich and Ben – the watch is so adorable I have doubts about carrying it off… Hee. Thanks for taking time to shop for my gift and in burning a hole somewhere.
Rus – my buddy… thanks for taking the effort to organise the heartwarming celebration with Ah Drew and Roger. My first time at Acacia and am still thinking of the mushroom soup!
Ah Drew and Roger – what’s the meaning of giving me a bunch of bananas? Haha. I know I drive both of you bananas… and I can’t bear to hug and dirty them!
Ching – thanks for the CD. It wasn’t a surprise due to your earlier sms but am still touched. Can’t believe that you actually called to sing me a birthday song. I know… KTV again?
AK – You’re the first angel to message me on my actual birthday and guess what? This is the first time I receive a purse (never mind if it is not in purple) from a guy and thanks for the lovely thoughts behind everything!
Bro – thanks for fixing the wireless for me. And for the cute chain. Hee.
Ah Di Kei – Cannot imagine you took the trouble to assemble this necklace! It’s exquisite and I look forward to wearing it!
Marie – Grandgal, thanks for the perfume and intention to treat me to lunch but as both of us know, we are not earning yet so it’s better to go Dutch. I hope it wasn’t rude and let’s go back to Sakae? Hoho.
Pearlyn – actually I don’t quite know how to use the powder which you gave me but I’ll figure it out. Keke.
My students – thanks for that innovative dance and making me laugh. But seriously, I hope I don’t get to spend my future actual birthdays giving tuitions. Haha.
Xin, Syl and Mich – thanks for the pragmatic gift. I think the card is very pretty!
Aunt Ruby, Krys and Esther – I know I’ll get it on Sunday but allow me to thank you first. The video of the little ones singing me a birthday song is honey sweet and my dad couldn’t agree more!
To many of my other friends – Dap, Dage , Wei, Grace, Les, Stelle, ID, Derek, Uncle, Joseph, Ser, Garry, Jarrod, Jintang, Nicky, Roy, Bash, Christopher, Paul, Mun Loon, Haliah, Sul, Jasper, Kexin, Yong Jian, July, Jinliang, Fiona, Kumari, Siyuan, John, Shantini, Ziqian, Jinwei, Wendy, Jolin, Jonathon, Mich Tan, Huifang, Er Niang, Dion, Xin Rong, Huiyun, Vivien, Evon, Rebecca, Mandy and the list goes on – thanks for all your well wishes. The thought of all of you remembering and taking time to send your greetings is a truly blessed feeling.
And I just realised that I didn’t take many pictures of the celebrations! Argh…
