Who am I, that the Lord of all the earth
Would care to know my name
Would care to feel my hurt
Who am I, that the bright and morning Star
Would choose to light the way
For my ever wandering heart
Not because of who I am
But because of what You've done
Not because of what I've done
But because of who You are
I am a flower quickly fading
Here today and gone tomorrow
A wave tossed in the ocean
A vapor in the wind
Still You hear me when I'm calling
Lord, You catch me when I'm falling
And You've told me who I am
I am Yours, I am Yours
Who am I, that the eyes that see my sin
Would look on me with love
and watch me rise again
Who am I, that the voice that calmed the sea
Would call out through the rain
And calm the storm in me
Christmas flew by and it is New Year's Eve! There's so much to pen down and I am at a loss as to where to start. Attended a Christmas Party with a number of youths and young adults. They are a fun bunch and never fail to amaze me with their energy level. Haa...
Took part in a short skit on behalf of church meant for the community. It was stressful initially because I haven't acted for a long time. Thanks to Yane (in gold) who gave lots of advice on our acting skills. Yat Sing (in red) and Mei En (in grey) took care of much of the logistics to ensure smooth rehearsals. Wallace (in grey), I feel, looks too young to act as my husband. Haha. Anyway, we also had a very brief KTV session at Jon's cosy home (before the actual performance) and I miss his pets - colourful lovebirds.
Reported for work on Monday for a meeting and got to chat with another colleague - Sin Yee. She is a sweet lady and hopefully, we have the chance to develop our friendship further.
Went to Orchard with Ash on Tuesday after work and we took several pictures. We happened to look at the lightings above us and I sang "Christmas isn't Christmas till it happens in your heart...". Ash and I were a little shocked when she confessed that she was thinking of the same song seconds ago! Keke. Telepathy?
Ash had her hair permed - looks like a pretty Japanese doll to me.
Received a goodie bag after the short skit I participated in and I love the reindeer soft toy which was snugly packed in a plastic bag. It's a magnet and looks like it is constantly praying. Wish I had taken one more...
Gave the reindeer soft toy to my godson and we named him Wei Wei. Jo loves it so much and we played with it. Reliving my childhood. Hehe.
The year is coming to an end. Am not having a good time recently at home. I remember that I was doing my Quiet Time one Sunday before TomSumJo picked me up for church and a song came to my heart. God spoke. The exact same song was led by the Worship Leader that very morning!
Your grace is sufficient for me Your strength is made perfect when I am weak All that I cling to I lay at Your feet Your grace is sufficient for me
I cried. He has never left me. He loves me and all I need is Him, my Jesus, my God.
I can see myself having a lot more work to do in the new year. The thought is frightening but my spirit is somewhat calm. Yes, I need to learn to rejoice always, pray without ceasing and give thanks in all circumstances.
Thank God for my family (include TomSumJo, Dage, Amanda...), the little ones (cousins, nieces, nephew etc.), friends (like Rus, Andrew, Ching, Ash...), opportunities to serve Him, lovely pupils, helpful colleagues, work, music and the list goes on and on.
Blessed New Year to all my loved ones! May God's love, peace, joy, faith, grace and strength be with us...
Goodbye, 2009!

Am starting to miss school already. Haha. Think it's the fabulous company - get to see smiling faces, have dinners with Ash, bicker with Nic and teach my adorable (and trying) Primary One and Four pupils. Anyway, we had a marvelous Level Lunch at Causeway Point in Dian Xiao Er. Generous Mdm Linda topped up the differences because we were each given $20 for this get-together from the school. And we had baby abalone - though it's never my cup of tea!
Came back from Hat Yai, Thailand not too long ago. The trip wasn't what I had expected - vastly different from the descriptions given by my Si Yi and mum. Looks like their definition of shopping differs from mine. I spent approximately S$ 200 on purchasing things (mainly food stuff), body massages and giving tips, over 5 days! I didn't even get to see many things which were on my shopping list. =( But, the company was great! We celebrated Dua Yi's and Dua Tior's birthdays in advance. Does it look like a Pajamas Party?
Saw this weird-looking dish - Pitcher Plants stuffed with white glutinous rice!
My first time at a floating market in Hat Yai. Interesting experience!
We had ching teng at a road-side stall and it looks different from what we have here.
A family picture taken in front of Lee Garden Hotel, where we stayed for two nights.
I told myself that I will commence working on my Confirmation Project as a BT when I am back and I kept my word!
Looking forward to Cell Christmas Party on Friday...

Am disappointed. And upset. It's agonising. Why am I treated in this way? She and her self-prophecies really complement their greed. She and her density, perfect for their caginess.
It's more blessed to give than to receive... But there are people abusing this beautiful truth...
I have to learn to let these go...
Sang this song for cell last night...

Following Jesus involves more than enjoying the wonder of His forgiveness. It challenges us to put Christ, His body, and His mission above our own natural commitments to home, work, and happiness. - Mart De Haan
This is not easy at all...
The great challenge left to us to is cut through the glitz and glam of a season that has grown increasingly secular and commercial, and be reminded of the beauty of the One who is Christmas. - Bill Crowder
